Project Cicero is grateful for a generous contribution of books from the estate of Diane Wolkstein. Wolkstein was a storyteller, a folklorist and the author of 23 books. We thank Morgan Stanley for hosting employee book drives at their New York City headquarters and for organizing dozens of volunteers who assisted at the distribution site.  Morgan Stanley also organized a “virtual” book drive, which raised more than $4,000 for new books through First Book.

Project Cicero is proud to be recognized as a major reuser/recyler in New York City in the Materials Exchange Development Program’s Reuse Study prepared by The City College of New York and funded by the NYC Department of Sanitation.

In March, John Froehlich celebrated his Bar Mitzvah. As part of that celebration, he asked guests to support Project Cicero in lieu of gifts. We appreciate the generosity of John and his family.
