Project Cicero was thrilled to exceed the 3 million mark at its annual event in March 2017! More than 1,200 teachers from under-resourced NYC schools selected hundreds of books for their classrooms. To date, Project Cicero has distributed 3,250,000 books to 20,000 under-resourced NYC classrooms. Many thanks to our partners—The New York Society Library, Vornado Realty Trust, Teach for America, New York Post—and the hundreds of schools, organizations, and volunteers who supported our event this year.
