Blue Room at the 92nd Street Y Nursery School
The children in the 2010-2011 Blue Room at the 92nd Street Y Nursery School saved their money throughout the year and purchased their favorite books. Those books have been generously donated to Project Cicero. On behalf of Project Cicero and the NYC children who will receive those books, thank you Blue Room.
The JCC Manhattan Two-Month Book Drive
The JCC Manhattan, through its JCC Works program, once again collected books from the beginning of the year for our March drive and also provided volunteers at the distribution site.

Project Cicero is featured in Betsy Bird's February and March blogs for School Library Journal. Ms. Bird is a librarian at the Children's Center at 42nd Street, New York Public Library.
Jessica's Bat Mitzvah
In 2010, Jessica Katzman celebrated her Bat Mitzvah. As part of that celebration, she asked her family and friends to bring new books to donate to Project Cicero. Jessica collected more than 150 books. This is the fourth year that the Katzman family have collected boxes of books from the community for Project Cicero. We appreciate their dedication and support.
